PRESS RELEASE: Jennifer Cihi to Perform at ‘SERASYMPHONY’ in LA

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 27, 2015 – American Sailor Moon songstress Jennifer Cihi will join the New York-based geek ensemble iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra for SERASYMPHONY: Sailor Moon Symphony, a fan-created orchestra concert featuring music from Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Sunday, July 5, 8pm at The Colburn School in Los Angeles, CA.

Best known as the original singing voice of Sailor Moon in the 1995 North American dub of the beloved anime series, Cihi has performed her signature songs such as “Carry On,” “My Only Love,” and “The Power of Love” at major conventions including Anime Expo, MTAC, and Malta Comics Expo in Europe. She will join the full orchestra concert for a special “DIC dub medley” including music by Michael Benghiat, John Miyagi Author, Andy Heyward, and Bob Summers.

SERASYMPHONY is a tribute concert featuring musical themes and transformation music from the 1992 Sailor Moon anime. Conducted by cellist and arranger Bobbie Lee Crow III and led by concertmaster Annette Homann, the multi-movement tribute will also feature a double concerto played by solo violinist Christina Bouey and composer-pianist Yasuhiko Fukuoka. The concert’s New York debut sold out within the first month of ticket sales.

SERASYMPHONY: Sailor Moon Symphony will be held at Zipper Concert Hall inside The Colburn School at 200 South Grand Avenue.
